Alouise is a 48ft Cruiser Stern

Narrowboat of the “Sandpiper”

class, built by the New Boat

Company in 2007. Alouise has a

well deck with a wooden glazed

deck board and vinyl cratch

cover. The saloon is entered from

the well deck and has L-shaped

seating which converts to a

double berth. An Aarrow Becton

Bunny multi fuel stove sits on a

hearth with tiled surround. The

galley is next to the saloon and

is equipped with a 4-ring gas

cooker with oven and separate

grill, a microwave and a 12v

fridge. The bathroom has a

Thetford electric ush cassette

wc, a moulded basin set into a

vanity unit and a curved corner

shower, with a tiled cubicle and

clear sliding acrylic doors. The

bedroom has a xed double

bed and a full height wardrobe,

with steps that double up as

storage and lead to the cruiser

stern deck. Under the deck

board of the cruiser stern is an

Isuzu 35hp diesel with a PRM

120 gearbox. The cruiser stern

is surrounded by taff rails and

covered by a pram hood cover

providing additional dry space.
